WE DON'T JUST TELL STORIES
WE CREATE IMPACT
OUR MISSION
We are more than a media company.
We are a family-led platform redefining how athletes build, own, and share their stories. Founded by NBA superstar Ja Morant and his inner circle, Catch12 operates at the intersection of sports, storytelling, and culture with a mission to amplify authentic voices and create lasting impact.
From original content and branded storytelling to grassroots initiatives like Twelve Time Basketball and the MBNO Foundation, Catch12 is built to inspire, innovate, and empower. Our portfolio includes podcasts, documentaries, digital series, and live experiences that speak directly to the next generation of creators and fans.
Catch12 also extends beyond media. Through brand marketing, we negotiate and build partnerships that balance endorsements with equity, royalties, and community investment. This ensures every opportunity benefits both the athlete and the culture. Our investments and acquisitions strategy positions us to grow across consumer goods, real estate, sports franchises, and emerging startups, with the long-term vision of global team ownership and infrastructure development such as training facilities and community centers.
The model we are building is not limited to Ja Morant. Catch12 is designed to bring other athletes under our banner, giving them the same opportunity to create and control their own business platform while staying true to their story and community.
Led by CEO Phil Morant and COO Berry Winn, alongside the entire Morant family and trusted partners, Catch12 represents a bold new model of athlete ownership and media leadership. We are not waiting for someone else to tell our story. We are building the platform ourselves with purpose, pride, and power.

WE DON'T JUST TELL STORIES.
WE CREATE IMPACT.

CURRENT PROJECTS

A RARE TYPE
A Rare Type follows 14-year-old basketball standout Kai Lowery, a gifted Point Guard and shooter for Twelve Time EYBL, who plays the game he loves while battling a fight no one can see. Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age three, Kai manages every moment of his life with an insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor. On the surface he is just another kid chasing a basketball dream, but beneath that he is locked in a constant battle with his body’s highs and lows.
This documentary captures Kai’s journey through intimate direct (raw realism) filming, self-shot family footage, and cinematic court moments. It blends the visible game of basketball with the invisible game of chronic illness, showing both the resilience required to compete and the universal fight to overcome what others cannot see. At once raw and uplifting, A Rare Type is a portrait of courage, representation, and the power of dreams.
